Tate Gallery of Lost Art

The Gallery of Lost Art was developed through a partnership between Channel 4 and the Tate, the exclusively online gallery explored the 'loss' of art pieces, through accidental, deliberate destruction, decay and misplacing.

The Gallery of Lost Art website was presented within a cavernous warehouse space as a seamless experience, visitors could move from a literal birdseye view down to a detailed examination of canvas grain and paint technique through an innovative 'deep zoom' interface.

In keeping with the theme the gallery was online for 12 months before being systematically 'destroyed' and collapsing back into entropy.
